Andrea Radrizzani has replied to a Leeds United fan on Twitter, but his words suggest he feels no remorse over the lack of spending in the January window.
We have benefited from the Italian’s time as the club’s majority shareholder so far as we have been able to mount a push up the table, especially under Marcelo Bielsa.
However, the lack of recruits marching their way into Elland Road in the winter market was a clear issue on Tuesday night when we lost to Queens Park Rangers as the players showed they were starting to run out of steam.
Had Radrizzani injected more cash into the club, Bielsa could have rotated his squad, and what’s worse is that the same team man-for-man is expected to square up to West Bromwich Albion on Friday night, just 63 hours after the final whistle blew and for the third time in a week.
The team appearing tired and distressed is what led to Luca Milanesi replying to the Italian’s post-game message of hope, suggesting that reinforcements would have been useful.
Keep faith and work hard ???????? come on @LUFC ! proud of the boys and all fans who made it to Loftus road, as always phenomenal!

Our majority owner and Chairman, though, happily replied suggesting the team “looks good” and “are motivated”, implying that he does not agree with the sentiment that failing to add more than Kiko Casilla will be a deciding matter in the fight for Premier League football.
Hopefully, when the season draws to an end Radrizzani’s decision did not prove to be a potential promotion risk and we will enjoy our centenary year as a club back in the top-flight. But if we are not, the Italian’s claim could see the Whites go down the same road in a years time.
