So much for the ‘falling apart again’ nonsense am I right?
Leeds United finally managed to get back on track with a win over Bristol City, and coupled with Barnsley’s shock victory over Fulham, we’ve managed to get that little gap back between us and the chasing pack. Now we just need to see if we can make good use of it between now and May.
And if we are to make good use of it, then we’re going to need a lot more performances like today out of this man.
Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, there was one player who got a lot of praise for his efforts today, and that was Patrick Bamford. Whilst he has come in for some very staunch criticism in the past, he looks to have shaken off those doubters for the time being as he received a standing ovation from the Leeds fans for his efforts today.
And that praise wasn’t just kept to the stands at Elland Road, it also made its way to social media where fans were more than happy to send their praise his way.
Quality from Bamford today, hold up,team play, movement, work rate all brilliant. 👏

Was this game a turning point for our season?
Yes
No
So long as the team is winning, I suppose he’ll get a little more leeway when it comes to his scoring, or lack thereof.
