QPR Star Said To Be Back On Leeds’ Summer Radar – Suggested Double Raid

|

Leeds United’s January transfer rumour mill did have us tentatively linked with a possible move for Queens Park Rangers star Luke Freeman.

Nothing came of the deal obviously as our eggs were in the Daniel James basket, but with the 26-year-old midfielder continuing to impress despite QPR’s recent struggles under manager Steve McClaren, it’s no great surprise to see the speculation getting a second wind as we’re now in a Championship lull owing to the March international break – especially as QPR took victory over us, and Freeman was again impressive, in that match.

The story has been given another airing by the likes of London Football News and at least to my recollection, there’s not actually anything new in it – but obviously the claims will spark some discussion amongst Leeds fans.

Middlesbrough are again linked by the outlet with maintaining an interest in his services.

As the report suggests, there are some claims we are also tracking their young starlet Ebere Eze and I certainly don’t doubt both are on our radar but it’s premature at this stage for any links to be given credence, as Victor Orta will have two lists – one for the Premier League and one for this level.
