Oh how things have changed.
Go back earlier in the summer and you’ll have read a whole lot of tweets along these lines.

Fast forward a couple of months and the fanbase is singing a completely different tune.
Patrick Bamford, has had an incredible start to the season. Whether this is something he had in him all along, but due to injury just didn’t have the chance to show it off, or if he’s just stepped up to the plate following the departure of Kemar Roofe to Anderlecht over the summer, but something has certainly clicked when it comes to the 25-year-old.
So when the Leeds Twitter account decided to mark his 4th goal in five games, United fans were all too willing to jump in and share just how much they love what he’s been doing all season.
Yes Bamford! Finish reminds me of Roofe against Villa last year!

After the game Bielsa described it as 'un gol de goleador' ('a poacher's goal). Some in the media have printed it as 'a top scorer goal'.

And people still say he shouldn’t start … it’s all about the points and winning, I don’t care who players it’s a team effort #lufc

Although, it looks as if one person still needs a little bit of convincing.
Been pretty easy goals in fairness

You heard him Patrick, every goal from now on has to be 30-yard screamers. I look forward to seeing yoo take on that challenge, starting Tuesday night against Stoke in the League Cup.
