With some thoughts turning to the upcoming March international break – if you like that kind of thing – Leeds United can expect the usual raft of country call ups for our international regulars and with confirmation coming in yesterday that Pontus Jansson finds himself in the Sweden squad once more, fans were rightly concerned of the inevitable ‘international injury’ becoming an issue.

With long standing injury complaints for the first team squad in the Championship campaign of 2018/19, with the pressure on at the top of the second tier table, manager Marcelo Bielsa will be wanting the injuries to ease and the break will be a distraction. Whilst it plays in our favour in terms of a rest and gives a period for some folks to get closer to a return to contention, fans want those who jet off to be understandably covered in cotton wool.
Everyone will have their fingers crossed that they all return in good spirits and injury free.
He’s got more important things on this month ????
