According to Football Insider, Leeds United have made an approach to Brighton to try and bring in Oliver Norwood.

The midfielder hasn’t really had a shot at the Premier League with the Seagulls but has won promotion with the likes of Fulham during loan spells and so knows what it takes to succeed in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed yesterday that Adam Forshaw would be out for some time thanks to a foot injury whilst Ronaldo Vieira has, of course, now left the club.

We look a bit short, then, in the middle of the park at the start of this season and so signing Norwood would likely be a wise move.

He’s a good player on the ball with a good eye for a pass whilst his set-piece delivery is very strong.

He’ll be looking to prove a point to Brighton if he moves, too, so I’m liking this potential idea in all honesty.
