Nunez was continuing to look Leeds main threat and he tested Steele with another shot from distance.

It was to be the last chance of the first half as Leeds went in at the break behind.

Davies went close again soon afterwards as Barnsley controlled the game and were looking like increasing their lead.

Vaz Te completed his hat trick when he waltzed through the Leeds defence to make it 4-0.

Leeds had a rare attack with less than fifteen minutes remaining. Kisnorbo saw his effort blocked and Darren O`Dea followed up by hitting the crossbar.
