Leeds United have shone under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa and, whilst the majority of the current discussions centre around ‘spygate’, there could be some major pieces of movement in the transfer market.
Football Insider states two unnamed Premier League sides have submitted multi-million bids for Leeds sensation Jack Clarke, who starred in the club’s 2-0 victory over Derby County last week that saw the Peacocks extend their lead to the top of the table to four points.
The likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been attributed with an interest in the 18-year-old and it is stated that two clubs from the south of England, potentially the two aforementioned north London outfits, have made offers.
Clarke penned his first professional contract after turning 17 but is one of the lowest paid players in the first-team squad, while Leeds’ reluctance to issue him a new deal has given rival clubs an incentive to try to secure his services.
