Sky Bet League One side Charlton Athletic reportedly want to sign midfielder Eunan O’Kane – according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The central midfielder has had it tough at Leeds in recent years.
Whilst most of our players have had criticism in the last 18 months, O’Kane seems to have had more than most with nearly every game he’s played being panned.
Evidently, too, it looks as though the club is willing to let him go this summer and with days left in the window Charlton are evidently interested.
The Addicks lost Jake Forster-Caskey to injury just before the season started last week and they need a new central midfielder to replace him as he looks out for some time.
O’Kane, then, looks to be their ideal candidate and I think he’d do well for them.
It’s a lower level than where we’re playing, of course, and that should do him a favour if he moves on.
