Leeds Word On The Tweet

Plenty of Leeds fans critical of “poor” and frustrating winger

|

On-loan Manchester City winger Jack Harrison is currently into his second season-long, temporary spell with Leeds United and it seems his qualities are highly valued by Marcelo Bielsa. This is not a view currently shared by everyone though!

The wide player, who predominantly features on the left for United, enjoyed a reasonably successful time at the club during their last campaign, with supporters enjoying his energetic and effervescent displays on the flank.

When United’s campaign ended in play-off heartbreak and Bielsa announced he was staying on, he once again brought in Harrison – though this time around the 22-year-old has been less impressive and has faced the wrath of the Elland Road faithful in recent weeks.

Though Harrison’s work rate and commitment to the cause remain unquestioned, some supporters feel he lacks the subtle technical qualities required of a winger at this level and he’s wasting potential opportunities with his lack of vision and abilities on the ball.

It seems a little harsh in some respects, but Leeds fans want success and feel Harrison is underperforming in their quest for promotion to the top flight. Here’s what’s being said about the situation on Twitter:

Some United fans believe Harrison’s crossing ability is not up to scratch, while one even labelled him the “worst in the league”!

Other fans labelled Harrison a “passenger”, “poor” and a huge “frustration” and the winger has clearly fallen out of favour with supporters at present!
