Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has no new injury or suspension worries for the third-round replay and gave little away in terms of team selection, but added ‘one or two players need games’.

The Leeds boss could recall David Healy and Rob Hulse to the starting line-up after they have played second fiddle to Robbie Blake and Richard Cresswell in recent matches.

But defender Dan Harding is unlikely to feature following a foot injury. The left-back did not travel with the squad to former club Brighton, so Stephen Crainey should continue.

Danny Pugh will be hoping for a start after his substitute appearance at the Withdean Stadium, while Frazer Richardson, Sean Gregan, Jermaine Wright, Simon Walton and Ian Moore will all be hoping to return to the squad.

Matt Jackson looks certain to return to the Wigan side for the FA Cup replay against Leeds on Tuesday night as Stephane Henchoz is suspended.

Austria international Paul Scharner will miss the third-round tie because he is ineligible.

Manager Paul Jewell is down on numbers with David Connolly absent with a hamstring problem and Henri Camara away on African Nations Cup duty.
