Leeds United saw their play-off hopes all but ended despite an enthralling fightback against Norwich City on Saturday.

Leeds trailed 3-0 but fought back to earn a point in a 3-3 draw but they are now three points behind Fulham with just one game remaining, with Fulham having a far superior goal difference.

Leeds have conceded just 13 goals at Elland Road all season but Norwich picked their way through the Leeds defence at ease to go into a three-goal lead.

Steven Naismith opened the scoring on 28 minutes when he was given far too much space at the edge of the area and his fierce shot gave Rob Green no chance.

Norwich doubled their lead just past the half hour when Josh Murphy got in behind the Leeds defence and he set up Nelson Oliveira who had the easy task of tapping home.

Oliveira almost scored again straight from the kick-off after Leeds gave the ball away but he fired just wide.

Oliveira did score his second and a third for Norwich in the final minute of the first half when he curled the ball home from the edge of the area.

Leeds got a lifeline in first half stoppage time when Chris Wood steered home a Stuart Dallas cross.

The goal lifted Leeds and Pablo Hernandez fired wide in the opening minutes of the second half after a defence-splitting pass from Eunan O`Kane.

Leeds got it back to 3-2 soon afterwards when Kyle Bartley bundled the ball home from close range.

Hernandez then levelled for Leeds with 12 minutes remaining to set up a grandstand finish. Hernandez curling home a free-kick from the edge of the area.

Two minutes from time, Norwich were reduced to ten-men after Naismith fouled Ronaldo Vieira.

Leeds laid siege of the Norwich goal in the closing minutes but couldn`t test John Ruddy in the Norwich goal.
