Pearson Bid To Disrupt Leeds?

The Sunday Express have run the smallest of re-hashed stories today, by suggesting that former Hull City chairman Adam Pearson is still intending to try to purchase Leeds United.

Having sold Hull to a consortium that included Paul Duffen, Pearson is yet again linked with Leeds despite ruling himself out of a summer move for the club.

More worryingly still, the Express are suggesting (again) that Pearson, if successful would replace Dennis Wise with former Wigan manager Paul Jewell.

Whilst Jewell’s record at club level is spectacular, Vital Leeds can only see this as a move that would upset a squad and management team who have bonded into an effective force of late.

Sorry Mr Pearson, but the current ownership and management team are doing just fine at the moment thanks. I think we’ll stick with them.
