Leeds United head to Selhurst Park on Sunday to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Jesse Marsch and Patrick Viera know each other well after both managing in the MLS earlier in their careers and this clash in England’s top flight promises to be an exciting match. Marsch gave his press conference today, so we can look at the latest news regarding injuries, suspensions and predicted line-ups. Luis Sinisterra misses the game after his dismissal last Sunday against Aston Villa. Patrick Bamford is in line for a spot in the starting lineup, Stuart Dallas has had a minor setback in his recovery and Adam Forshaw has had to have a hernia operation and is set to be ruled out for at least 6 weeks.

Jesse spoke about Palace and said “We know there’s a lot of quality in this league. I have a lot of respect for Palace, I think Patrick Vieira is a fantastic manager, they have a really talented team.”

On Patrick Bamford, he added, “He’s fitter and trained well this week. He’s ready to go and there’s a high likelihood he’ll be ready from the start.”

And on the importance of playing attractive football, “I’m focused on the team being effective in the way we want to play. If we manage that, the football can be dynamic, attractive, it can score goals, then everyone has fun.”

You can watch more from Jesse Marsch below.
