Jack Marriott remains a player wanted by many this summer and the rumours are bound to continue around his name for the whole of the window.
A player who hit 33 goals in all competitions last season, he was always going to attract interest and a number of Championship clubs have been linked.
We are one of those, too, even if things have gone slightly quiet on that front from our perspective of late.
With that in mind, though, if we do decide we still want him, Darragh MacAnthony – the Peterborough owner – has suggested that things are still more than open for him:
All fans need to calm down on this as JM is with us right now happily training. Yes we have had many multiple enquiries and firm bids in January, May and now June from a lot of clubs as was/is expected. If/When anything happens, it will be confirmed officially 🙂 https://t.co/pNg4bk15KJ

The Verdict
Marriott remains a Posh player and it would seem that no club is really in pole position to bring him in.
If the Whites want to get him, then, we can still move ahead of others but, of course, that does depend on whether he is still a target.
