Many Leeds United fans have been hailing Stuart Dallas on social media for his superlative display against Hull City, as we made it seven league wins in a row.
An own goal from Jordy de Wijs and a late strike by Ezgjan Alioski ensured we beat Grant McCann’s Tigers at Elland Road on Tuesday night, with the win enough to move back atop the Championship table ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Wigan Athletic on Wednesday.
Dallas had his work cut out to keep the visitors from scoring as we stretched our winning streak to seven, by being tasked with marking the league’s second-top goalscorer in Jarrod Bowen.
The 22-year-old had struck 14 goals in 20 games prior to the Tigers’ mid-week trip to West Yorkshire, but was held to three shots, of which none managed to force Kiko Casilla to make a save.
While Bowen struggled to make an impact, Cookstown-born Dallas was influencing proceedings throughout, with the £8,000-per-week natural right-back recording a game-high six successful tackles as our left-sided full-back.
Is Dallas Bielsa's first-choice left-back?
Yes, absolutely
No, should be Alioski
No, should be Davis
Dallas penned his six successful tackles from eight attempts, and also recorded two interceptions, completed his only attempted dribble and found teammates with 36 of his 51 passes, per WhoScored data.
He also won eight of his 12 ground duels, blocked two shots and registered 84 touches, according to Sofa Score statistics.

What a massive win lads!!! Ayling & Dallas were superb tonight. Klich and Bamfords work rate is so pivotal. The 2nd goal summed it up perfectly how important them 2 players are. Pablo poor again though. But we march on… 7 in a row #lufc

Thought Leeds build up play was excellent tonight. Final ball was lacking, but overall we were very good. Ayling and Dallas were stand outs for me. As a side note, never heard such bad losers as hcfc fans and players. #lufc
