The Whites travel to Millwall this weekend in a fixture that usually offers something to get excited about one way or another.

In recent years, of course, the stress levels have gone us as they have had a bit of a hold on us but, at the same time, it’s always a good game between two sides that don’t tend to like one another.

And, whilst our biggest games are against those in Yorkshire or Manchester United, this is still a game we want to win.

Similarly, the Lions are feeling the same and it’s clear how big we are for them when you look at Lee Gregory’s comments to their website:

“It’s about starting fresh, and what a game to come back into – Leeds at home is one that it doesn’t get much bigger than for Millwall.”

It is clear that they see this game bigger than we do – it appears a cup final for them at times – but it’s still a match we all want to win.

Hopefully, this season, we can match their fight and desire.
