Leeds returned to the top of the Championship last night as we ground out a 1-0 win away at Hull City.

In truth, it could have been a much more comfortable win for the Whites but we again missed a lot of chances against the Tigers.

For Hull manager Nigel Adkins, though, we’re one of the best sides he’s seen in the league and he is expecting us to beat a lot of teams well this year.

Speaking to the Hull Daily Mail, he said:

“I thought we played against one of the best teams I’ve seen in the Championship for many years.”

Certainly, we have had a lot of plaudits come our way this season of similar ilk and it is certainly nice to hear that.

However, we still need to be that bit more clinical and hopefully once Kemar Roofe et al. return to action we’ll start taking teams apart once more.

In the meantime, though, the three points is most important and we earned that last night.
