Steve Morison has made the unusual claim that he is going to play like Zlatan Ibrahimovic this weekend for Millwall against Leeds United.

The big Swedish forward is a world-class player with titles across Europe, so it is easy to see why Morison thinks he can play at his level against us…

As quoted by South London Press the Lions forward said:

“I’ll turn up, pull out my Zlatan Ibrahimovic kit, whack that on and take care of it.

“Every now and again I seem to have the game of my life.”

Of course, we’re all aware of the fact that the Lions are our bogey team at the moment with them somehow always up for it when we roll up.

This year things seem different, though.

We’ve toughened up and look fitter and more tactically sound than we have in years whilst they are not having a good season so far too.

Certainly, Bielsa won’t care a jot about what any of them have to say ahead of this one and I think now is the time for us to end this hoodoo.

One Reply to “Opponent makes very bold claim ahead of facing Leeds United”

  • So confident that you need to try psyche us out eh? When a player says he’s going to play like someone else, he’s clearly saying that either he’s crap and has the odd lucky game, or that he only turns it on when he’s motivated or when he feels like it. I think I know which one! Bog off Morrison you one-game wonderplank !
