Plenty of Leeds United fans have been praising defender Stuart Dallas in light of their 2-0 defeat against Cardiff City on Sunday.
The Whites’ return to Championship season got off to the worst possible start in an event which took place behind closed doors and failed to extend their lead at the top of the standings, slipping down to second on goal difference.
Junior Hoilett and Robert Glatzel scored either side of half-time which meant that the hosts kept their promotion hopes alive as they continue their hunt for a Playoff place.
Was Stuart Dallas' performance the best of the worst?
Yes
No
Dallas received plaudits for his display and it is easy to see why. During the 90 minutes, the 29-year-old managed to make three clearances, win four ground duels, played four long balls and accumulated a pass success rate of 82%, as per Sofascore.
With this in mind, supporters were impressed with Dallas’ performance and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he was of the club’s “only decent performer”, while another stated that he “looked as fit” as he’d seen him.
Dallas our only decent performer today. Everyone else looked a mile off match sharpness. No final ball. Get Pablo back in this side and quick! #lufc

Bamford offered little for me today. Very slow and hold up play wasn’t good enough. Final ball was shocking from the wide men. Dallas was our best player today. We were so sloppy. Need to be much better against Fulham which is a must win for me. #lufc
