You’re either one of those people that believes in ‘luck’ ‘omens’ and ‘superstition’ or you’re not.
I personally am, but for reasons I can’t quite put into words.
Noted Twitter account @LUFZSZ decided to take part in the fun and games this week by offering up a very interesting statistic ahead of today’s match against Nottingham Forest.

Now, read from that what you will. Obviously there are some irregularities that need to be sorted out. It says that they went on to win the top-flight title that season, and Leeds are currently in the second tier. Then there’s the pretty obvious difference, that side had Eric Cantona and as much as Kalvin Phillips may be regarded highly be the Leeds fans, even going so far as being dubbed ‘The Yorkshire Pirlo’, he still doesn’t come close to being on the level as the Frenchman.
So, what did Leeds fans think of this statistic? Were they impressed by what they saw, or did they think it was all a bunch of nonsense? Well the majority of them fell into the first category, and that seemed to get them even more excited ahead of the clash.
@WainmanJoe its written in the stars

Although there were two, more level headed gentlemen who weren’t so keen to talk about promotion and league titles just yet.
One game at a time and let’s talk about promotion when we are promoted…. one game at a time .. mot

Yeah… and the team at the top of the Championship at Christmas ALWAYS gets promoted…

Incase you’re wondering what that last chap was on about, Leeds defied logic last season by being top at Christmas, only to fail to get promoted.
