On this day twenty years ago the current champions of the country kicked off their first ever Premiership campaign. Leeds beat Wimbledon 2-1 thanks to two goals from Lee Chapman.
Luciano Becchio scores the only goal of the game as Leeds win 1-0 at Wycombe Wanderers.
Lloyd Sam scores for Leeds in a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest in an ill-tempered game that sees both clubs charged by the FA for failing to control their players after an incident involving Chris Gunter and Sanchez Watt.
Andy Keogh joins Leeds from Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan until the New Year. The striker re-joins the club where he started his career.
The club are also giving a trial to experienced striker Mikael Forssell.
The Finnish international forward has arrived at Elland Road after being released by German Bundesliga side Hannover 96.
