A look back at what happened on this day May 7th in the history of Leeds United.
*On this day in 1994, Leeds finished the season with a 5-0 win at Swindon Town.
Two goals from Brian Deane and goals from David White, Chris Fairclough and Rod Wallace ensured that Leeds finished in fifth place in the Premier League.
The 5-0 win ensured already-relegated Swindon conceded exactly 100 goals in their only season in the Premier League.
**On this day 2011, goals from Max Gradel and Ross McCormack saw Leeds win 2-1 at Champions Queens Park Rangers. The win saw Leeds finish the season in seventh place in their first season back in the Championship under Simon Grayson.
Despite the win, it was a disappointing end to the season having been in the top-six for most of the season. Leeds finished three points outside of the play-off places with sixth place Nottingham Forest also winning on the final day of the season.
