Leeds United defender Andy O`Brien says now is the time to stick together and not pick faults with the teams performance.

Leeds go into Friday night`s clash with Reading on the back of three games without a win and only one win in their last six games.

O`Brien is now urging everyone to stick together as the club try to ensure they reach the end of season play offs with just four games remaining.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, O`Brien said, “I don`t think there`s loads and loads wrong. We`re in the top six and we`ve been there or thereabouts all season.
“We`ve had chances to take second spot and we`re still there in sixth.
“This isn`t the right time to start picking the bones out. I`m sure the club will reassess everything in the summer but this is the time to stick together and get that play-off place.
“We`re actually in the position which matters and we`re there because we deserve to be with four games to go.”

The experienced central defender initially joined the club on loan from Bolton Wanderers at the end of October and they went on an unbeaten run, from his debut at Scunthorpe until early January when they lost at Cardiff City.

Despite Leeds mixed fortunes since Christmas, where they have picked up twenty-seven points from twenty games they still remain in the top six.

Leeds destiny is still in their own hands but they face a tricky run in with games against promotion chasing Reading, Burnley and Queens Park Rangers and relegation threatened Crystal Palace, who will be fighting for their lives.

There are now three clubs just two points behind Leeds, with Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Burnley just two points behind them going into the busy Easter period.
