Leeds United go into this game on the back of a fine 2-1 win away to Hull City. However with Southend shocking title challengers Birmingham, it means the Whites have slipped to rock-bottom in the Championship. The opposition aren’t exactly having a great time of things at the moment and will be looking at this as an easy point at least.

Vital Quotes:

Norwich star Lee Croft told the official website that he expects a tough time from Leeds, and the physical side of our play could spur them on to victory (I hope not!)

‘I think its good. If they are kicking you know you must be doing something right. If me or anyone else gets a kick it will give you a little lift and it makes you more determined to show them up.’

So now you know lads, just kick the football instead.

Wisey is expecting the same again from his players, at the end of the day they just need to settle, relax and enjoy their football. Scoring goals would of course be advantagous.

‘The injuries haven’t gone away, but I hope the team carries on what they are doing, and it might be that some players could have to wait to get back if they have to.

Norwich City Team News:

Dion Dublin is currently struggling with injuries and is a big doubt for them (he is after all, a big bloke…apparently.)

Simon Lappin may make his debut after his transfer from St.Mirren

Defender Shackell is out with an ankle injury, Adam Drury sits out for being a naughty boy.

League top goalscorer Earnshaw is still out with a long term (possibly season ending) injury.

Player to watch: Darren Huckerby

This guy has been a pain in the rear end for teams for many many years, I don’t expect tomorrow to be any different.

Leeds Team News:

The obvious ones mentioned in articles here on Vital Leeds include the broken bone bunch David Healy (arm_ and Tore-Andre Flo (foot). Nicholls, Lewis, Kelly and Elliot are all out. Jonny Howson may start.

Player to watch: Alan Thompson

Can he fire us to victory again? We shall soon see!

Did You Know?

The Norwich Canary was first introduced into England by Flemish refugees fleeing from Spanish persecution in the 1500s.

Nope, neither did I.

Ref Watch:

The ref is K A Friend (awww)
I.J Woodward and J.M.Hayto run the line.

Match Prediction:

I very nearly got it spot on bar goalscorer having completely forgotten that Flo wasn’t even going to play (whoops).

2-2 this time I think, a tough battling point…every little helps!

Next Fixtures:

Next up is a home game against mediocre mid-table side Crystal Palace next Saturday (10th)

Yawn, at least our league position is exciting!
