Potential Leeds United bidder Duncan Revie has admitted that he won`t be ready to bid for the club by time the vital creditors meeting comes up. The meeting is due to be held at Elland Road on the 1st of June but it is unlikely that Revie will be ready in time and the man himself admits that his interest may be fading.

If Revie pulls out, as it stands this would leave two bidders for the club, Simon Morris and the one and only Ken Bates, but it isn`t for the want of trying from the son of a former Leeds manager Don Revie.

Revie Junior said: The money’s not an issue,’ ‘We have that, but I would not want to take it on unless I was sure we could do it justice.

We are still thinking about it but nothing will happen in time for the creditors’ meeting.

Love him or loathe him, Ken has got where he is by being a very shrewd negotiator. I think his intentions are fairly honorable.’

onourable? Ken? Is he nuts?
