News: Leeds receive positive injury update on star man

|

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Eddie Nketiah should be back from his injury before the end of the month – which is a big boost for Leeds.

The Arsenal loan man picked up the injury in the final training session before Saturday’s game, and Phil Hay suggested he could be out till December; however, the Mirror believe that Nketiah will be back after the international break.

The 20-year-old is Leeds’ top scorer this season with five – yet has still not started a Championship match with Marcelo Bielsa sticking by Patrick Bamford.

This despite the fact he has not scored in ten Championship games.

Who should start when both strikers are fit?

Nketiah

Bamford

The injury to Nketiah gives Bamford about two matches to break his goal duck – before the calls for Nketiah to start will begin again.

Nketiah looks to have a bright future, and he has already scored some important goals for the Whites – so the quicker they get him back onto the field the better.
