According to the Express and Star, West Brom are keeping tabs on Matej Vydra despite the heavy links he has had with a move to our club.
The forward has seemed to be the striker that Marcelo Bielsa wants to head up our attack but so far we’ve not managed to get it over the line and things have apparently cooled.
Now, then, West Brom are thought to be tracking him with them potentially looking to make a move later on in the window.
That, then, is obviously a potential blow but, at the same time, it still gives us the opportunity to try and get something over the line for the player.
The Verdict
I get the feeling that we’ve not got long left to try and thrash this out.
West Brom will need new attackers if some of their key men leave this summer and they won’t muck about with Vydra, they’ll just get him.
