The Academy graduate made his debut for the club as a second-half substitute in the 4-1 victory over Derby County at the weekend and earlier today the finishing touches were put on his new deal, keeping him with us until 2021.
Leeds born and bred, the youngster saw himself pretty heavily involved in our pre-season buildup under new manager Marcelo Bielsa and he did feature in three matches, so getting his bow was duly deserved.
Now the challenge is for him to continue impressing and work towards his full debut for the club as he continues his development having now had a taste of first-team senior football.
Fans on social media were certainly delighted by the news and they are hoping the lad has a big future ahead of him now.
Side before self!
Good lad

I love big signings but nothing beats a local academy lad coming through.

Onwards and upwards for the lad hopefully, but it’s certainly a promising start and I’m sure under Bielsa he’ll keep his feet firmly on the ground.
