Leeds United Academy graduate Tyler Denton made the switch out to League One side Peterborough United during the summer for a season long loan spell to get his game time up as he looked to build on the small experience gained with us, and his spell in the first half of the 2017/18 campaign out with Port Vale.

His time at London Road hasn’t been a roaring success as the 23-year-old has struggled for game time and his tally reads 12 starting appearances, with two further showings from the substitutes bench.

Given how his games across the 2018/19 campaign seem to have come in blocks, I’m not sure if he struggled with injury, but in any event Posh owner Darragh MacAnthony was asked by a fan to give his thoughts on the player, and whilst he had plenty of praise for his attitude and pointed to the fact that time to develop and improve further was on his side owing to his age, he didn’t believe that he would make the grade at Elland Road as things stand.

You would assume given his age now it may well be make or break time at Leeds as we look to build on the future we have and with the likes of Aapo Halme impressing, Denton’s time may sadly be over.
