Leeds United fans had a few things to celebrate on Tuesday evening as we took all three points from our Championship trip to Preston North End.
Heading to Deepdale for the game, manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side keep the pressure on Sheffield United as we retook second spot by two points ahead of their game last night, and of course, Patrick Bamford answered a few of his own critics with a brace on the night.
With Pablo Hernandez also being passed fit given the concerns that surrounded him, Gaetano Berardi got the opportunity to build on his recent Under 23 action and return to the first team fold as a late substitute.
Injury has limited the 30-year-old to only ten appearances across the 2018/19 campaign, and the last time fans had the opportunity to see him was back on March 9 – and prior to that October 24.
Coming on for Jack Harrison with 13 minutes remaining in regulation time, certainly boosted these fans.
and now Berardi’s getting 15 minutes. I don’t hate football anymore.

Win, clean sheet, Bamford scoring, Roofe and Berardi back is it Christmas already?

Best thing about tonight is seeing Roofe, Berardi and Forshaw on the pitch looking sharp. Returning players could be vital for the run in
