It was another disappointing weekend for Leeds United fans as it wasn’t just three points that were up for grabs in the Yorkshire Derby clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa went into the game knowing that given the early kick off we could certainly boost spirits and temporarily return to the top of the Championship table with victory, but in a weather hampered match, we didn’t really do enough to justify taking more than the point we returned home with.

Statistics website Whoscored didn’t have much between the two sides on the day but goalkeeper Kiko Casilla took their star man award to lift Man of the match with a rating of 7.81.

Completing the top five were Luke Ayling (7.47), Ben White (7.47), Kalvin Phillips (7.03) and Jack Harrison (7.02).

We stay in second spot, and remain only two points behind West Bromwich Albion as they also dropped points in the 3pm kick off.
