With on-loan Chelsea man Izzy Brown expected to step up his return to action next Monday in another Under 23 run out following his 45 minutes against Birmingham City last Friday, the news of him edging closer to full first-team contention has been music to the ears of fans.
The 21-year-old highly rated youngster has spent the best part of ten months out with a serious knee injury and originally he wasn’t expected that he would enter manager Marcelo Bielsa’s plans until the New Year, so being ahead of schedule is already a bonus.

The player himself has already admitted he’s eyeing a spot in the matchday squad for the December 1st clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane if things go without a hitch and he should be an added dimension for us on the pitch in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign.
Reacting to the news of his return and the game he’s targeting, fans on social media were delighted that they may soon get the chance to see him the shirt properly and see what he can do.
