‘A World Class Venue worth £400 million’ is how Simon Morris has described what he wants to turn Elland Road into. A new 50,000 seater stadium and with Stanley betting already having first shout at any possible gambling establishment, the future suddenly looks a lot rosier.
Morris has tabled a £10 million pound bid for the club, with a further £25 million to invest immediately.
The 29 year old Morris is currently one of the richest under 30 years old in the country having made his fortune in property. As a former director, he is well aware of the size of the task and also the benefit of success for one of Europe`s biggest clubs.
Morris has said that the proposal has been ‘fully costed’.
