“More Relaxed” – Bielsa Would Like Leeds To Do This More Often As We Put QPR To The Sword

|

With mixed form on a results and performances front for Leeds United so far in the 2019/20 Championship campaign, we still found ourselves in third place (only two points off top spot) as we went into Saturday’s clash with Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road.

The visitors rarely threated and Leeds again created a bagful of chances, but first half Tyler Roberts made his chance count in the 39th minute to give us the lead, and second half, Jack Harrison tied the points up with eight minutes remaining in the game to give us a pretty comfortable 2-0 victory.

Leeds return to the top of the table and the aim now is to go on a winning run and really spike confidence.

Speaking to the BBC following the full time whistle, manager Marcelo Bielsa said of the performance.

“We were calm and if we win by one goal and you have five minutes left, then everybody is nervous in the stadium. So we hope that match to match we don’t have more of this feeling. And we try to pass this kind of match where we are winning 1-0, more relaxed.”
