Leeds United got the tour of Burma underway properly earlier today and duly lost to the Myanmar league’s All-Stars side.

A team made up of the best in the division in the country, we perhaps should have expected a test.

And, of course, with a lack of time to adapt to the new surroundings and a weakened side from us, it was always going to be fairly tough.

Even so, we surely should have got some sort of result against a side like that, but at least it doesn’t count for much.

Let’s look at the reaction:

The Verdict

I’m not too fussed even if on the face of things it’s not the best looking result.

Certainly, a win or a draw would have been nice but I can’t imagine it’s the most comfortable environment after changing Yorkshire for East Asia.

Let’s just hope the other game sees us get a result.
