Leeds United got back to winning ways as Ross McCormack scored twice in the second half.

After a scrappy first half, McCormack opened the scoring just three minutes into the second half when he fired home from a tight angle and he doubled the lead halfway through the half as Leeds made it three home wins in a row.

Mowatt almost opened the scoring for Leeds in the opening minutes but Wayne Hennessey did well to keep out his effort.

Joe Edwards then saw an effort deflected wide as Yeovil had their first chance on goal and Joe Ralls had an effort go just wide as the visitors started well.

Matt Smith went close with a header and Rodolph Austin fired wide for Leeds in an even opening twenty minutes.

Smith then missed a great chance to open the scoring when the ball somehow went through his legs from close range and Mowatt fired just wide from the follow up.

Marius Zaliukas came on to make his debut for Leeds before half time after Stephen Warnock was forced off through injury.

Austin had a late chance in the half for Leeds, his effort deflected over for a corner with the half time whistle going shortly afterwards.

Leeds opened the scoring early in the second half when McCormack fired home from an acute angle after good work from Austin.

Austin was the driving force in the Leeds midfield and another marauding run saw his effort take a deflection for a Leeds corner.

McCormack doubled the lead for Leeds when he again linked up with Austin and this time he coolly beat the advancing Hennessey for his fourth goal in five games.

Substitute Dexter Blackstock then almost scored a third when his effort was deflected just wide.

Yeovil were not giving up and Edwards went close when his shot went just wide with Joel Grant just failing to divert the effort in.

It was to prove the last meaningful effort of the game as Leeds sauntered to a comfortable win.
