Gary McAllister saw the draw with Nottingham Forest as two points dropped, rather than a point won, however he is still confident of making the play-offs at the end of the season.

A late Jermaine Beckford penalty ensure that Leeds managed to claim a point on Tuesday night, but it was not enough to get them back into the play-off places but McAllister is still confident of achieving this: “It’s another two points slipped away.

“But there’s still a lot of points to play for and still lots up for grabs. That carrot there is massive.”

Doncaster are ahead of Leeds, in one of the automatic promotion spots and it is they who Leeds have to face on Saturday, and McAllister is going their looking for a win, he added: “We need to go to Doncaster and win. Those two points we dropped at home we’ve got to try and get them back away from home.

“Another team, another footballing side – the outcome will be the best team will win.”
