Leeds will surely be looking to add to their side in the summer window, regardless of what division we are in for the next campaign.
Of course, we are hoping that we are going to be a Premier League side once more but, at the same time, there is a chance – unfortunately – that we could remain a Championship outfit.
Even so, we have the ability to strengthen our team and hopefully we’ll be looking to get Daniel James signed after he came so close to joining in the January window.
The winger has been excellent this season and is a real flyer out wide but, similarly, he has good mental attributes and Ryan Giggs’ comments about that should encourage us further to go for him again.
As quoted by Wales Online, the Welsh manager said:
“I don’t know the details of that [failed move] but I think they played them (Leeds) the week after.
“That just shows his professionalism and his mentality to come through that and kick on again from what was already a good season.”
Certainly, James has all the makings of a top player and this should only strengthen our resolve in order to try and get him.
