With Tuesday evening’s victory over Reading, Leeds United put themselves back at the top of the Championship table for a period given Norwich didn’t until late yesterday evening, so with one eye on that game and the outcome, thoughts also turned to the Yorkshire clash with fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United.
The final result in Saturday’s early kickoff could be key to the promotion battle, in terms of deciding the automatic spots, as only two points separate the sides, so whichever side is victorious on the day takes a significant advantage over the other with the games now running out.
Centre-half and modern day club legend Pontus Jansson took to social media on Tuesday evening to issue a rallying call ahead of the game.

The social media exploits of our Swedish international are well known amongst the Elland Road faithful and it doesn’t take a genius to work out his message was going to be well received – everyone knows how huge this game could be for the run in.
Good man! That’s the spirit that will get us up. Say no more.
