After all the moves that Leeds United fans have seen made so far this summer, predominantly in terms of transfers coming in, you’d think there would be nothing to complain about.
However, it looks as if it isn’t all smiles and sunshine amongst the faithful at Elland Road, with a lot of fans now starting to wonder who will be the first big name to officially leave the club. Oh and I’m not counting Jack Clarke in terms of the last sentence, he isn’t leaving until next year.
The biggest name to be linked with a move away is centre back Pontus Jansson. After last week’s report from Matt Law of The Daily Telegraph, there have been some concerns from Leeds fans about whether or not the move is likely to go ahead, and how big an impact it could have.
Some fans are undecided about whether or not to just let him go and move on with the whole situation, or if he is a vital part of the team going forward and must be kept at all costs. So when noted Twitter account Nothing But Leeds tried to take the diplomatic approach over the news, there were some interesting responses, from both sides of the argument.
Hope we get someone in who doesn’t fancy going off when the tough gets going, thinks class on his day but is really not as hard as people think

Have to trust the manager/coach, he sees what we do not.

Did you see his performance against Wigan at home this season? Took my Dad who hasn’t seen Leeds since the 70s & I was bigging Pontus up. Pontus was dire, lost his man at least 4 times & let him in on goal. My Dad was not impressed & I was embarrassed. We are human after-all.

I agree if pJ goes our manager will walk and then we will be back at square one

If PJ goes he needs replacing. We were short in that area last season and Berardi clearly can’t be trusted.
