There have been a lot of different viewpoints aired as to how the current season should play out, and whether it should be made null and void.

The National League have taken steps to suspend the season indefinitely, with league leaders Barrow suggesting there ought to be a vote to decide whether they should be promoted into League Two.

A similar scenario could be introduced in the Championship and that is something we could benefit from given our current league position and our form across the season.

Would you support games being played behind closed doors?

No

However, Manchester United’s Luke Shaw thinks differently, and argues that there is no way for the current season to be completed, and therefore suggests that it should be scrapped.

He even opposes completing the remaining fixtures behind closed doors as he believes sport is nothing without fans in attendance, and those comments have understandably been met with backlash by our fans.

We, of course, would pay the biggest price if the season was voided, along with United’s other rivals Liverpool, so it is perhaps little surprise that Shaw has made such comments, particularly as the Red Devils haven’t fared too well this campaign.
