Young Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor has joined Fleetwood Town on loan.

Taylor has joined the League Two side on an initial one-month loan deal and he will go straight into their squad for the trip to Southend United on Friday night as they look to continue their good start to the season, with them currently occupying second place in the division.

The 20-year-old is hoping to gain more first team experience having previously enjoyed loans with York City, Bradford City and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The academy product has made four appearances for Leeds since making his debut as a 17-year-old in the League Cup tie with Bradford City in August 2011.

Vital Leeds will keep you up to date with how Taylor is doing during his time with Fleetwood.
