Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas says the squad are enjoying pre-season training under new head coach Thomas Christiansen.

Dallas returned to Thorp Arch for the start of pre-season this year after returning late last summer. The winger had been on international duty with Northern Ireland at the European Championships during the summer before being allowed to take an extended holiday after getting married on the eve of the competition.

The 26-year-old then made a slow start to the season under head coach Garry Monk but he is enjoying this summer under Christiansen.

“It`s been good. He has come in, the boys have enjoyed it so far, and the training has been good. It’s been tough, but it has been fun,” Dallas told BBC Radio Leeds.

“It has all been work with the ball and it`s been an enjoyable first couple of weeks.”

Dallas scored twice for Leeds in their 5-1 win at Guiseley last weekend to get off the mark this summer.

The squad have now jetted off to Austria where they will play two games before returning for their final pre-season game of the summer against Oxford United.

Leeds then kick-off their season at Bolton Wanderers on Sunday August 6th.
