Ian Westlake has returned to Leeds United after only four days at Cheltenham Town.

Westy played in their midweek reserve team victory against Swindon Town and impressed manager Martin Allen.

Cheltenham wanted to sign the player on loan but the two clubs have failed to reach an agreement on him joining the robins.

Martin Allen is disappointed that the two clubs have failed to reach an agreement as he was impressed with Westlake during his trial, speaking on the official website Allen said “Ian has done a terrific job in training and I`m grateful for Leeds United for allowing him to come here”
