Leeds United first team coach Ian Miller says there is a new spring in the step of the players after two positive results in the past week.

Speaking on the official website Miller said “They were back in on Tuesday and were bang at it”.

It`s the first time that Leeds haven`t had a midweek fixtures since early January with the club playing fifteen games in the first two months of 2010.

Leeds have struggled in the league since the turn of the year winning just two of their eleven league games.

Despite the dip in form Leeds are still well placed in second place in League One and have a four-point cushion over third place.

Miller now believes though that the team are ready for the important run in, continuing Miller said “We had a blip and we are where we are. But now we need to take off”.

Leeds welcome Brentford to Elland Road on Saturday hoping to pick up three points and move a step closer to getting out of League One
