Simon Grayson has continued his building of a Leeds side that knows exactly what the Leeds shirt means to the fans.

Boss Grayson who is a lifelong Leeds United fan, brought in local lads Richard Naylor in January and now Leigh Bromby who are both lifetime supporters of the club.

They join Jon Howson who is another local lad who as well as playing for the club have supported them since childhood.

Grayson has already shown that he will not tolerate any slacking from his side and is quick to lay down the law when they are underachieving.

The first time he read the riot act was at Hereford last season when the club probably reached its lowest point.
It`s rumoured he locked the players in the dressing room for almost an hour after that 2-0 defeat, the players responded by losing only one of their final fifteen league games before narrowly losing out in the play offs.

The side have continued where they left off last season and have just equalled a club record of seven straight wins at the start of the season that`s stood since 1973.

On Saturday they could break two records, the one mentioned above and also fourteen straight home league wins, they equalled that record against Tranmere recently, that records stood since 1969.

Grayson as obviously drummed into his squad just what playing for Leeds United means to us fans.

Today`s new signing Bromby talking on the official website said “I`m delighted to be here. It`s happened pretty quickly, but there was no decision to make really once I knew Leeds were interested.”

The best bit of news on transfer deadline day was the fact that Jermaine Beckford remained at the club despite the rumoured interest of a number of clubs.

The club after a number of bleak years finally look like we are moving once again in the right direction on the pitch.

It finally looks like we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.
