Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is hoping to see a few of the transfer listed players leave the club this week.
Warnock still as four transfer listed players at the club and the Leeds boss is hoping to see a few more leave this week.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, “There are probably a few lads going out, which we are working on.”
Andy O`Brien left last week to sign for Canadian side Vancouver Whitecaps after being placed on the transfer list at the end of last season.
Billy Paynter is also expected to move on this week. Paynter started last week on trial at Blackpool before joining Doncaster Rovers for a trial on Thursday.
The striker played no part in Doncaster`s pre-season friendly with Barnsley on Saturday but Warnock is expecting the deal to be completed on Monday leaving just three players still at Elland Road who are on the transfer list. “Billy is going Monday and we have had a few enquiries about other players. We haven`t got many more to move on now,” added Warnock.
Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka, defender Paul Connolly and midfielder Ramon Nunez remain at the club who are currently on the transfer list.
Rachubka and Connolly have both been featuring for the reserve team squad during pre-season, whilst Nunez had played his part in pre-season with the first team but he hasn`t featured in the last two games.
