Leeds United manager Neil Warnock says he is not expecting to bring in any players in on loan before the window closes on Thursday unless it is with the view to a permanent move.
Warnock has brought in two players since his arrival last month. Free agent Danny Webber has signed on a short-term deal until the end of the season and Bolton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson has joined on a month`s loan.
Leeds currently have Paul Rachubka, Maik Taylor, Lloyd Sam and youngster Sanchez Payne out on loan.
Warnock is keen to take a look at his squad players and feels if they can get some first team football elsewhere between now and the end of the season it would make sense but he is not going to rush into any moves before Thursdays deadline.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, “The situation that we are in, I want to look at everybody if I can before the end of the season so it is difficult to loan out.
“I don`t really want to loan anybody in if they are not going to get a game.
“I am sure things will change over the next two or three days. If I can bring somebody in with a view to a long-term deal then I think I would bring somebody in, but for the short-term, I do not think I will.
“If they are not going to get a look in, I would prefer them to go out and I can get DVD`s sent to me. I would rather them be playing than not playing. We just need to be careful whilst they have a chance.
“We will have to be careful until Thursday.”
Notts County manager Keith Curle has already taken Lloyd Sam on loan for the remainder of the season and he has also enquired about squad players Billy Paynter and Mikael Forssell.
Despite scoring regularly for the reserves since the arrival of Warnock, Paynter hasn`t featured for Leeds since the opening day at Southampton.
He spent time on loan with fellow championship side Brighton earlier in the season and it was thought that Brighton boss Gus Poyet was keen to take Paynter to the south coast but they would not match the Leeds valuation of the striker who netted just one goal in twenty-three appearances last season.
Forssell joined Leeds in the early months of the season on a contract until this season.
The vastly experienced Finnish international has made just one start in thirteen appearances since his arrival at Elland Road and he is still waiting for his first goal.
