Leeds United have been quick to help out the city neighbours and current Super League champions Leeds Rhinos during the bad weather.

With the Rhinos Practice pitches in Kirkstall under snow it
looked like they would miss out on a week of practice before their February 6th clash against the Celtic Crusaders.

But when they received an offer from Leeds United to use Thorpe Arch for training, they breathed a sigh of relief.

‘The players had yesterday off and we’ll be going to Thorp Arch today.
Leeds United have given us an opportunity to be able to use their facilities and we are very, very grateful.’

This shows further the great relationship between two of the city’s
biggest teams.

Speaking on the official website Leeds United manager Simon Grayson said his club were happy to assist.

‘We are delighted to be able to help the Rhinos,’ he said.

‘The facilities are Thorp Arch are excellent. The Rhinos start the season
on Friday and this is obviously a key time for their preparations.

‘Hopefully making use of our facilities will help them get off to a good
start.’

The Rhinos kick off their Super League season this Friday night at home against Celtic Crusaders

Nice to see the city’s biggest clubs helping each other out.
